My story

I can't code. I've built nearly 100 things anyway.

Draft: this page gets written from our interview.
Claire Mitchell

I'm Claire. I'm 56, I'm a mum, and I live in an old mill in North Yorkshire with a garden, a greenhouse and a flock of rescue chickens.

I've run businesses since 2005, including The Girls Mean Business. I've homeschooled my daughter, had health scares and kept the business going through all of it.

Then brain fog, menopause and burnout arrived together. There were jobs I needed to do that I couldn't face, couldn't work out or couldn't organise myself to finish.

ChatGPT was the first thing that helped. It got my thoughts out of my head and into an order I could follow. Then I found out I could use AI to build things: sales pages and slides at first, then calculators and quizzes, then whole apps and my own software.

I'd never heard the words "vibe coding" until recently. I'd just been doing it.

Now I want to show other people who aren't techie what they can make.
